Q. Why are you doing this conference?
A. My objective for this conference is to bring together the best of the hypnosis world, share knowledge, improve collaboration among colleagues and get hypnosis the recognition it deserves in our wider communities. And that means giving you all the tools you need to make your practice a success, whether that is techniques, research, knowledge, specialities, interesting and profitable niches, marketing or business skills.

I’ve spent the last 7 months developing the conference from my first very successful conference last year. I’ve listened to the feedback that you’ve been asking for; more in-depth, content and solid techniques to put into practice. As a result, I have focussed the schedule around giving you more in-depth knowledge, tools and skills. These in-depth workshops will be 2 hours and each individual workshop is certified, giving you the benefit of specialisation and your all-important CPD credits.

Along with my business partners and colleagues, I have been working solidly to bring you the very best content, research and techniques. It has been a lot of very hard work, but I am incredibly proud to be offering you such an exciting opportunity, right here in the UK!!

Q. How will I receive my CPD hours certification?
You will receive certificates for each individual workshop you attend throughout the conference. (You will be asked to sign in and out of workshops so that we can ensure that only attendees receive certificates!) Plus you will also receive an attendee certificate for the entire conference. These should be collected at the conference itself on Sunday afternoon, but if you forget to pick yours up, just get in touch and we’ll pop them in the post for you.

Q. Is this conference for new therapists or existing hypnotherapists?
Both! The conference has been designed to help all those with an interest in hypnosis at all levels. Whether you are an expert or a novice, there will most certainly be new, interesting areas for you.

If you already have a hypnotherapy business, this is an incredible opportunity to expand your skillset, research knowledge, develop a new speciality or business building skills. And for even the most experienced hypnotherapist, there will most certainly be new information to learn from our psychiatry expert, Dr Alan Sanderson (which I am very much looking forward to!!). Plus I will be sharing some important, little-known client convincing research to be shared.

For those new to the industry, or simply with an interest in hypnosis, there will be tasters, practical learning and information on how to take it further. No prior training or experience is required.

Q. Is this ‘gimmicky’ special price deadline a scarce tactic to make more money?

A. Absolutely not. Conferences are very expensive and time consuming to organise. I have my suppliers to pay… venues, caterers, travel and accommodation for my speakers, marketing materials and support staff etc. In the events industry it is standard practice to negotiate special rates for early payments, which is the reason why early bird tickets are cheaper than those bought a few days before the event. Similar to how airlines work to help keep flight prices down when you book early!!

Q. Why does this conference talk about making money?
A. Why not? You do an amazing job for people that gets results. You should get paid, just like any other helping professional!! It is a shame that I see far too many great therapists give up because they don’t earn enough to pay the bills, let alone make a decent living.

Common problems include not charging enough or taking on too many clients. This is no good for you or clients. Unfortunately, few therapists understand the true cost of finding clients… and that can be hard if you don’t know how to market yourself or you don’t like “selling”…. If you’re not careful you could end up working for less than minimum wage. As a result many therapists suffer burnout, can’t pay their bills and go out of business. Which means they are not able to work with the people they have been trained to help.

I want to show you how to marketing your business and have time to enjoy your success. Q. What accommodation is available near Teddington?
We have a list of local accommodation, each of which we’ve negotiated special rates for you (options start from £35 pppn).

Q. How will I get there?
By car, Teddington School is easily accessible to the whole of the UK with motorway links to the M4, M3 and M25.

By train, regular fast trains from Waterloo take 30 mins to the nearest station, Hampton Wick, which is a short 5-10 minute walk to the venue. (Local taxis from the station are also available). And there is another local connection to Teddinton from Waterloo that takes slightly longer .

By plane, Heathrow is the nearest airport, but fast train links from London make arriving to Teddington simple. (And if you give us enough warning, we may be able to arrange a car to pick you up from the airport!)

Q. Where can I park my car?
A. There is plenty of free parking on site and in the surrounding roads (this is a no-traffic warden zone!!).
